Point Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health (LPH) is investigating an outbreak at Vision Nursing Home, declared on Sunday December 27. LPH received the laboratory-confirmed positive COVID-19 test result for a resident.
A long-term care or other communal living setting outbreak is declared facility wide when there is one or more lab-confirmed COVID-19 case in a staff member or resident, and possible exposure to others in the setting has occurred.

Lambton Public Health Declares Three Workplace Outbreaks and One School Outbreak

Point Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health (LPH) is investigating three new workplace outbreaks and one school outbreak, all declared on Saturday December 26. LPH has received five laboratory-confirmed positive test results for COVID-19 linked to the first workplace, two linked to the second and also the third workplaces and two linked to the school.

Wyoming, ON - Additional precautionary measures are being taken at Lambton Meadowview Villa and Marshall Gowland Manor.
A person who attended Lambton Meadowview Villa on December 16, 2020 has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. A different individual who attended Marshall Gowland Manor on the same date has also subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group met Wednesday, December 23 to discuss updates in the current COVID-19 situation. The group will meet again on Wednesday next week to discuss new developments and planning requirements. Additional meetings will be scheduled if needed.
