Lambton Public Health announces resignation of Dr. Ranade

Point Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health (LPH) is announcing that Dr. Sudit Ranade has resigned his position as Medical Officer of Health for Lambton County, effective June 30, 2022.
Recruitment processes in the search for a qualified replacement have already begun, and Dr. Ranade will remain in an acting capacity with LPH to assist the County in the transition of his duties and responsibility.

Ribbon Cutting Planned for Petrolia Library

Petrolia, ON – Plans are underway to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony next week at Petrolia Library to celebrate the completion of renovations following a five-week closure of the library in April.

Lambton Public Health issues guidance for Air Quality Advisories

Point Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health is encouraging residents to take the proper precautions to protect their health on days when air quality is poor.
The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks issues forecasted Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) values for 38 regions, including Sarnia, every hour of each day. The AQHI values range from low risk to very high risk and each connects to suggested steps to reduce exposure and risk.
