Cold Weather Alert Issued for Lambton County - February 9, 2021

Point Edward, ON - Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health has issued a COLD WEATHER ALERT for Lambton County based on the latest forecast from Environment and Climate Change Canada predicting the temperature to meet the threshold of -15°C overnight Tuesday.
The alert is expected to remain in effect until Wednesday, February 10, 2021. The Medical Officer of Health will not issue a Cold Weather Alert termination.

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is investigating multiple outbreaks at one workplace, one institutional workplace, and one Long Term Care home, all declared on February 6. LPH received the laboratory-confirmed positive COVID-19 test results for three staff at the workplace, one inmate at Sarnia Jail, and one staff member in the Long-Term Care division of Vision Nursing & Rest Home.
