Point Edward, ON – On Monday, February 22, 2021 at 12:01 a.m., Lambton County will move to Red-Control zone of the province’s COVID-19 response framework. The provincial announcement was made to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 in Lambton County based on an overall risk assessment of local indicators.

Point Edward, ON – The Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force met Thursday, February 18 to discuss updates to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan in Lambton County.
At this meeting, the Task Force:
- Heard the Lambton Immunization Task Force will receive three shipments of COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) in the next two weeks.

Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group met Wednesday, February 17 to discuss updates to the current COVID-19 situation. The group will meet again on Wednesday next week to discuss new developments and planning requirements. Additional meetings will be scheduled if needed.

Point Edward, ON - Noelle's Gift Foundation has donated $65,000 to the Ontario Student Nutrition Program-Lambton (OSNP-Lambton) to support the cost of healthy food for students.
The Student Nutrition Program receives provincial base funding from the Ontario Student Nutrition Program of 12 cents per student per day. On average it costs $1 per student per day to provide a healthy snack, making it necessary for schools to fundraise to cover the funding gap that exists.

Wyoming, ON - Lambton County Library is now offering Seasonal Day-Use Permits for Ontario Parks for loan to its cardholders. The seasonal day-use permits will provide borrowers with unlimited daily vehicle entry for one vehicle plus all its passengers at any Ontario Provincial Park, including the Pinery Provincial Park.
