Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) will continue to monitor the pandemic situation and modify services and internal operations in order to support the COVID-19 response effectively. The office will be closed Monday, February 15, 2021 to observe Family Day. COVID-19 case and contact management will continue to be supported, but surveillance data reports will not be updated. Point Edward, ON – The provincial announcement indicates Lambton County will be transitioning from the current provincial shutdown and stay-at-home orders to the COVID-19 Response Framework on February 16, 2021 under the Restrict (Orange) Level which reflects intermediate measures.

Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group met Wednesday, February 10 to discuss updates in the current COVID-19 situation. The group will meet again on Wednesday next week to discuss new developments and planning requirements. Additional meetings will be scheduled if needed.

Point Edward, ON – The Lambton COVID-19 Immunization Task Force met Tuesday, February 9 to discuss updates to the COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan in Lambton County.
At this meeting, the Task Force:

Cold Weather Alert Issued for Lambton County - February 9, 2021

Point Edward, ON - Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health has issued a COLD WEATHER ALERT for Lambton County based on the latest forecast from Environment and Climate Change Canada predicting the temperature to meet the threshold of -15°C overnight Tuesday.
The alert is expected to remain in effect until Wednesday, February 10, 2021. The Medical Officer of Health will not issue a Cold Weather Alert termination.
