Lambton Public Health announces holiday closures and modified services

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH), its sub-offices, and services will be closed to the public on the following days:
- Friday, December 22
- Monday, December 25
- Tuesday, December 26
- Friday, December 29
- Monday, January 1
Additional program and service changes during open office hours include:
Water sample drop off, which will be available at the Point Edward main office from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on:
- Thursday, December 21
- Wednesday, December 27
- Thursday, December 28

Respiratory illness prevention and protection reminder

Point Edward, ON – Respiratory illness prevention and protection continue to be a priority for our community as we move closer to the holidays and as the number of indoor interactions increases. Using simple basic actions is something we can all do to reduce the potential spread of illness and protect those most vulnerable.
These actions include:
- Stay up to date with immunizations, including COVID-19 and influenza (the flu).
- Stay home when you are sick and wear a mask until day 10 from symptom onset.

Board of Health discussions underway between Health Units to explore potential voluntary merger

The Boards of Health for Lambton Public Health (LPH) and Chatham-Kent Public Health (CKPH) are moving forward with a process to explore the opportunities and impacts of a voluntary merger in the communities they serve.

Lambton County Library holiday hours

Wyoming, ON – All 25 Lambton County Library locations and book return bins will be closed on December 24, 25, 26, 31, 2023 and January 1, 2024.
Due dates on library items will be extended until Friday, January 2, 2024. Library patrons are urged to plan their visits to drop off returns in advance and not return items during this time of closure. For a full list of hours and locations please visit lclibrary.ca.
