Lambton Public Health Prioritizing Third Dose Boosters for 70+

Point Edward, ON – In an effort to shield our most vulnerable and provide an extra layer of protection against COVID-19 and its variants (including Omicron), Lambton Public Health (LPH) is increasing opportunities for third dose (booster) vaccinations to individuals 70 years of age and older in the next week.

Emergency Control Group Update – December 15, 2021

Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group (CECG) met Wednesday, December 15 to discuss updates to the current COVID-19 situation.
At this meeting, the Emergency Control Group:
- Heard that 207,314 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Lambton County, as of Wednesday, December 15. That represents 80% of individuals aged 5+ that have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 76% of individuals aged 5+ that have received two doses.

Housing & Homelessness Community Input Survey

Sarnia, ON – The Homelessness Prevention & Children’s Services Department is launching a community input survey to gather feedback on recent and impending efforts to strengthen housing outcomes and reduce chronic homelessness across Lambton County.
Participants are encouraged to use this survey as an opportunity to share input on housing and homelessness strategies and actions, and to reflect on the current and potential housing and homelessness challenges facing our community.
