Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) would like to inform the public on changes to its operations during the holidays this year.
LPH is modifying the COVID-19 surveillance reporting schedule during the holiday season. This follows a similar approach across the province with reports from Provincial Health Authorities and other health units. Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) has been notified by the province that future orders of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine are temporarily delayed, so our remaining Pfizer supply needs to be prioritized.
Beginning Tuesday, December 21, in stock vaccines will be distributed as follows:
- Residents aged 12-29 years old will receive the Pfizer vaccine as recommended by the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (while supplies last).
