Wyoming, ON - Lambton County Archives (LCA) will be hosting a year-long workshop series focusing on genealogical research and archival preservation.

Mosquito pool tests positive for West Nile Virus - September 2019

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health's West Nile virus (WNV) surveillance program confirms mosquitos collected from a trap located in Petrolia on August 28th have tested positive for the virus.
This is the first positive result for the virus in Lambton County this year. There have been no positive human cases of WNV in Lambton County, but 2 human cases have been confirmed in Ontario at the time of this release.

Household Hazardous Waste mobile depot coming to Lambton Shores - August 2019

Wyoming, ON - The popular Household Hazardous Waste Days, co-sponsored by the County of Lambton Public Works Department and Clean Harbors Canada Inc., will be changing locations in August and will offer Lambton County residents an opportunity to dispose household hazardous waste at no cost.
The one-day only Household Hazardous Waste Collection will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the County Public Works Depot located at 6958 Townsend Line, Lambton Shores.

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident around noon on Sunday, August 18 in the parking lot outside the convenience store at the corners of Trudeau and Confederation streets.

Wyoming, ON - The Lambton County Long-Term Care Division has launched a new program called Lambton County Connects (LCC). LCC provides individuals in Lambton County an opportunity to socialize, learn new skills, and stay connected to others from the comfort of their own home, while helping prevent social isolation in the community.
