Wyoming, ON – At its regular meeting Wednesday, October 3, 2018, Lambton County Council:

Creative County Grant Program to open 2019 intake

Wyoming, ON - Beginning Monday, October 1, Lambton's Creative County Grant Program will be receiving funding applications for cultural, heritage, and arts initiatives occurring in Lambton County in 2019.
Organizers of new or expanding initiatives are encouraged to apply for funding to cover up to 50 per cent of their project's cost.

First human case of West Nile Virus 2018

Point Edward, ON - A Lambton County resident has tested positive for the West Nile virus (WNV).
This is the first lab confirmed human case of the virus in Lambton in 2018. There have been 54 human cases reported in Ontario. WNV was previously established in our area through local surveillance efforts. Mosquito pools in Wyoming and Corunna and a crow in Sarnia tested positive earlier this season.
