Lambton Student Nutrition Program thanks Noelle's Gift

Sarnia, ON - Thanks to a $28,000 donation from Noelle's Gift, 40 schools that provide a Student Nutrition Program in Lambton County will be able to purchase healthy food to feed more than 8,100 students every school day.
"Additional food funding for schools means more fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grain and milk products will be available for students whenever they need it," said Leslie Palimaka, Health Promotion Assistant at Lambton Public Health.

Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton's three Long-Term Care Homes will be hosting their annual Christmas bazaars over the coming weeks.
The events support the activities of the Homes' Auxiliaries and will be held as follows:

Sarnia, ON - Changes to the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017 now restrict the use of cannabis and vapour products, in addition to tobacco, in many public locations.
Paul Buttery, Health Promoter with Lambton Public Health, says "Smoking cannabis and vaping of any substance is prohibited wherever smoking tobacco is prohibited."
In Ontario, it is illegal to consume tobacco, cannabis and use vapour products in the following locations:
- Any enclosed public space
