Household Hazardous Waste mobile depot coming to Sarnia - June 2018

Wyoming, ON - The popular Household Hazardous Waste Days, co-sponsored by the County of Lambton Public Works Department and Clean Harbors Canada Inc., will be changing locations in June and will offer Lambton County residents an opportunity to dispose household hazardous waste at no cost.
The one-day only mobile Household Hazardous Waste Collection event will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Lambton College Parking Lot located at 1457 London Road in Sarnia.

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident on Thursday, May 31, around noon, on Brenchley Street, Sarnia.
The dog, described as small and brown, possibly a "weiner" dog, was seen running between houses on Brenchley Street.

Beach water sampling enhancements

Point Edward, ON ̶ Lambton County beach-goers will be able to get more accurate and timely water quality notifications thanks to a new predictive beach-water sampling system being introduced as of June 4 by Lambton Public Health (LPH).
Water at five of Lambton's public beaches will be monitored on a daily basis by LPH while two others will be sampled weekly. Beach-water testing continues until the end of August.
