The Court Services Department is responsible for processing fine payments, enforcement of unpaid fines, setting trials, recording court proceedings, generating transcripts and other administrative duties resulting from charges laid by the various enforcement agencies operating within Lambton County.

Canada Post Labour Disruption

During the Canada Post labour disruption, mail service will be delayed.

  • To pay a fine, it is recommended that you use payment options such as online (www.paytickets.ca), e-transfer, or in person at 162 Lochiel Street, Sarnia, or any Provincial Offences Court in Ontario.
  • You can request an Early Resolution Meeting at www.ontario.ca/ticketsandfines and also check the status of your ticket. 
  • Requests for trial can be made in person at 162 Lochiel Street, Sarnia or by emailing your signed ticket indicating your request for trial to poa@county-lambton.on.ca.

As of January 2023, Option 2 to Plead Guilty with an Explanation has been replaced with the Early Resolution option. You now have the choice to schedule a meeting with the municipal prosecutor to discuss your charge. Visit the link above for more information.
