Member Municipalities
Eleven member municipalities make up the County of Lambton.
Government Structure
County Council has many roles including representation of the public, development and evaluation of programs and policies, determination of service levels and maintenance of the fiscal integrity of the corporation.
Lambton County Council is made of 17 representatives. The Mayor of each local municipality is a County Councillor. Based on the size of the member municipality, additional Municipal Councillors will also sit on County Council. Every two years, one County Councillor is elected as Lambton County Warden and will act as the head of Council.
Meetings occur on the first Wednesday of each month, with a few exceptions. Committee Meetings take place on the third Wednesday of each month. You can view past and upcoming council and committee meetings, along with all agendas and minutes, on the meeting calendar.
