Wyoming, ON – At its regular meeting Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Lambton County Council:
- Heard an update presentation from Bluewater Health regarding the hospital's activities, plans and needs for the coming years.
- Heard an update presentation from Bioindustrial Innovation Canada.

Rabies vaccination clinics

Point Edward, ON - Several low-cost rabies vaccination clinics will be held across Lambton County beginning the end of March and continuing into May.
The clinics are open to all cats and dogs, three (3) months of age and older. Animals must be in good health and not vaccinated within the last year. Only rabies vaccine will be offered, except for in Sarnia where microchipping is available for an additional $20.00 fee.
Animals must be leashed or contained. The cost is $25 per animal (cash only).

Paint Ontario returns to Lambton Heritage Museum

Grand Bend, ON - Lambton Heritage Museum will once again play host to the popular Paint Ontario show.
The exhibition runs March 29 to April 20, 2019 and features over 200 original paintings that bring to life the beauty, character, and diversity of Ontario. An Opening Night Reception will be held from 4 - 9 p.m., Friday, March 29 with an awards presentation beginning at 7 p.m. Admission to the event is free.

Grand Bend, ON - The first tundra swans have been spotted in the Thedford Bog behind the Lambton Heritage Museum, and numbers are expected to rise over the next several weeks.
For many residents of Lambton County, the beginning of spring is often associated with the return of the tundra swans. The tundra swans make an annual stop in this area during their 6,000km migration loop. Council unanimously approves 2019 County Budget

Wyoming, ON - Lambton County Council has approved a net increase of 1.75% to the County property tax levy, finalizing the County's 2019 Budget in Wyoming this morning.
In total, the budget calls for spending $216.5 million in 2019, $76.7 million of which will be raised through local property taxes.
