Cold Weather Alert extended for Lambton County

Point Edward, ON - Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health has extended a COLD WEATHER ALERT for Lambton County based on the latest forecast from Environment Canada that predicts the temperature to meet the threshold of -15°C.
The alert is expected to remain in effect until Wednesday. A Cold Weather Alert termination will not be issued.
Lambton Public Health advises local agencies that provide shelter and assistance to homeless people to prepare for an increase in demand during the Cold Weather Alert.

County receives funding to expand Adult Day Programs

Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton has received $50,000 from the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) to strengthen its offering of Adult Day Programs to local residents.
The funding, through the Ontario Dementia Strategy, has allowed the County to add an extra day's worth of programming to its Adult Day Program sites at Marshall Gowland Manor in Sarnia and Lambton Meadowview Villa in Petrolia.

Grand Bend, ON - Lambton Heritage Museum will once again be celebrating the annual tundra swans migration.
The museum's Return of the Swans exhibition will be on display February 28 to April 12.
In addition, Lambton Heritage Museum will be offering tundra swan-related March Break programming 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, March 11 -15.
