Sarnia, ON – Join the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery on June 3 at 11:00 a.m. for an in-person Art & Ideas lecture with artist John Hartman.
John Hartman will discuss some of the key portraits in the exhibition, Many Lives Mark This Place, and how this series of Canadian author portraits was conceived and completed.
The program will take place in the exhibition space and there will be time throughout for participant questions.
Registration for this event is required and can be completed through the Art & Ideas page of the JNAAG website.
Art & Ideas is a series of presentations that complement the current exhibits by drawing connections to their themes and by featuring discussions with specific artists and experts. The series is redesigned each season to entice creative thought and encourage new perspectives.
The gallery is open Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Admission is free.
