Where to give
Complete the online donation form to make a donation to one of the following destinations:
Area of Greatest Need |
One of the most effective gifts to your community is the area of greatest need. By designating your gift in this way, you allow the County to direct your donation to the highest priority needs, including emergencies. |
Lambton Circles |
Circles™ is a supportive, intentional, reciprocal, befriending relationship comprised of a Circle Leader, a family working to get out of poverty, and two to four community Allies, middle class people who are willing to befriend the family and support their way out of poverty. One out of every six children in Lambton County live in poverty. In 2007 The Child Poverty Task Force was formed to address this concern. The task force determined that the Circles™ Initiative is the most appropriate model to address reducing child poverty in Lambton County. The Circles™ Campaign promotes the vision to end poverty in the County of Lambton. Your donation represents an investment and commitment to help people with their plan to transition out of poverty. |
Lambton EMS |
Through the PAD Program, Lambton EMS provides training, preventative maintenance and quality assurance for all AEDs (Automatic External Defibrillator) throughout Lambton County. A central repository of AED locations is maintained by the Central Ambulance Communications Centre so 9-1-1 callers can be advised when an AED is nearby. In the chain of survival for someone who suffers an out of hospital cardiac arrest, early CPR and early AED can increase the chance of survival up to 75 per cent. We encourage every member of the public to learn CPR and help increase community awareness and the ability to help. |
