Point Edward, ON ̶ Lambton County beach-goers will be able to again get more accurate and timely water quality notifications thanks to a predictive beach-water sampling system that was introduced in 2018 by Lambton Public Health (LPH).
Water at five of Lambton's public beaches will be monitored on a daily basis by LPH while two others will be sampled weekly starting on June 3, 2019. Beach-water testing continues until the end of August.
"The predictive beach model monitoring system provides a more accurate representation of water quality and allows us to relay this information to the public sooner," says Theresa Warren, Public Health Inspector with Lambton Public Health.
