Wyoming, ON – Meeting rooms are now available for booking at select Lambton County Library locations.
“Lambton County Library recognizes that, in some communities, the Library may be the only public space in which groups and individuals may gather for meetings, presentations or to access technology to participate in virtual appointments” said Darlene Coke, Manager, Library Services.
Meeting rooms are available for booking during opening hours on a first-come, first-served basis. Each meeting room is furnished with tables and chairs, power sources, and access to free Wi-Fi. An iPad is also available for in-room use. Room capacity and amenities vary depending on the location. Commercial enterprises are not eligible to book meeting room space.
Seven meeting rooms are available to reserve at no cost in six locations:
- Alvinston Library
- Corunna Library
- Forest Library
- Sarnia Library (Connection Cube)
- Thedford Library
- Wyoming Library
A library card is not needed to make a reservation. However, a name, address and phone number are required, along with visual verification of an acceptable piece of identification to book and use the space. Identification must be verified at the library service desk prior to use of the space.
The meeting rooms were funded by the Government of Ontario’s Municipal Modernization Program. Visit lclibrary.ca to see room details and terms and conditions of use. To book a meeting room, call or visit the library.
