Wyoming, ON - Lambton County Library is now offering Seasonal Day-Use Permits for Ontario Parks for loan to its cardholders. The seasonal day-use permits will provide borrowers with unlimited daily vehicle entry for one vehicle plus all its passengers at any Ontario Provincial Park, including the Pinery Provincial Park.
The Seasonal Day-Use Permits are valid between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021 and may be borrowed for a period of seven days. Permits include a vehicle permit, a $5 day-use coupon for future regular day-use and a Parks Guide. The vehicle permit must be returned after the lending period but the borrower may keep the coupon and parks guide.
Lambton County Library offers a variety of materials to enhance park visits. In addition to the collection of wildlife books, trail guides and kids nature books, the Library’s collections also includes snowshoes, pedometers and GPS units available to borrow. Ontario Parks passes and other library materials can be reserved for contactless curbside pickup using the online catalogue at lclibrary.ca, the Iguana Library mobile app or by calling a participating curbside pickup location during opening hours.
Lambton County Library received the passes from Ontario Parks as a part of its library day-use vehicle lending program that encourages Ontario residents to spend time outdoors and take advantage of the benefits being outdoors provides to mental and physical health.
