Wyoming, ON – At its regular meeting on Wednesday, November 6, Lambton County Council:
- Welcomed students attending Council as part of Take Our Kids to Work Day. These students joined hosts within the County to learn about the working world and the many ways municipal staff provide services to the residents of Lambton County.
- Received an update from the Social Services Division regarding homelessness prevention and affordable housing.
- Authorized staff to proceed with the design, engineering and construction of a child care facility located at Lambton Meadowview Villa, in Enniskillen Township.
- Adopted Phase Two of the 2024 Asset Management Plan.
- Endorsed the County of Lambton Winter Operations Plan for the 2024/25 winter season.
- Approved the installation of secondary stop signs on Mandaumin Road (County Road 26), Courtright Line (Highway 80) and Petrolia Line (County Road 4), and requested staff to consider the installation of flashing beacons at such locations.
Council will next meet at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The meeting will begin with a Closed Session, if necessary, followed immediately by the Open Session.
