Wyoming, ON – At its regular meeting Wednesday, September 5, 2018, Lambton County Council:
- Supported a resolution from Oxford County regarding the municipality's proposal for the development of an integrated high-performance public transportation solution for southwestern Ontario.
- Confirmed $1.2 million in funding towards the completion of the Oversize Load Corridor project, removing the requirement for senior government support.
Appointed Valerie Colasanti, General Manager, Social Services as the Administrator of Ontario Works. - Requested staff prepare a report regarding the speed limit at County Roads 80 (Courtright Line) and 31 (Kimball Road).
- Authorized staff to utilize funds from the Housing Reserve Fund to assist Midvalley Senior Apartments of Petrolia Inc. for the replacement of a make-up air unit, at a cost not to exceed $63,044. In exchange, Midvalley will add an additional three rent supplement units at the property subject to staff providing information on the operations of these units.
- Noted that Council will next meet in regularly scheduled Open Session Wednesday, October 3, 2018.
