Wyoming, ON - Beginning Monday, October 7, Lambton's Creative County Grant Program will be receiving funding applications for arts, culture and heritage initiatives occurring in Lambton County in 2025.
The Creative County Grant Program invests in new and innovative projects that build cultural capacity, strengthen the creative community, and enrich the quality of life of all residents. Organizers of new or expanding initiatives are encouraged to apply online for funding to cover up to 50 percent of project costs.
“The Creative County Grant Program helps bring innovative ideas to life, and last year the County supported 23 initiatives that showcase the vibrancy of Lambton’s arts, culture, and heritage communities,” said County Councillor Brad Loosley, Chair of the Creative County Committee. “These projects are essential in telling Lambton’s story and building a stronger, more connected community”.
Applications for the Creative County Grant Program will be accepted online only at lambtononline.ca/creativecounty starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024. The application period will close on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. The County of Lambton has allocated a budget of $75,000 in available funding for the 2025 program year.
Since its inception in 2013, the Creative County Grant Program has provided financial support to more than 200 cultural initiatives across Lambton County.
