Emergency Control Group Update - March 3

Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group met Wednesday, March 3 to discuss updates to the current COVID-19 situation. The group will meet again on Wednesday next week to discuss new developments and planning requirements. Additional meetings will be scheduled if needed.

At this meeting, the Emergency Control Group:

• Heard a brief update on preparations for COVID-19 vaccination clinic sites in Lambton County. Select fixed-site immunization clinics are currently operating on an invitation only basis, but will be open to additional priority groups in the future. Details will be provided as soon as possible regarding when they will be open to a wider eligibility group.
• Received an update on PPE supply levels from County divisions. All areas continue to maintain an adequate supply level.
• Would like to remind residents that local statistics are available on the Lambton Public Health website, including a detailed community snapshot and vaccination updates.
