Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group met Friday, May 1 and Monday, May 4 to discuss updates in the current COVID-19 situation. The group will meet next on Wednesday and Friday this week to discuss new developments and planning requirements. Additional meetings will be scheduled if needed.
At these meetings, the Emergency Control Group:

- Heard that guidance surrounding the opening and use of community gardens, or allotment gardens, was released yesterday by Lambton Public Health. This information can be found on the Community Supports section of the Lambton Public Health website and includes a fact sheet of detailed requirements, signage enforcing physical distancing and a poster infographic sharing safety tips for those using these gardens.

Since the restrictions began on March 21, they have continued to see a significant decrease in traffic for both passenger vehicles (95% decrease) and commercial trucks (45% decrease).
