Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery invites families and members of the public to drop-in to the art studio every Saturday afternoon for Family Saturday, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. These short, artist-facilitated studio activities are inspired by the current exhibitions. New activities will be offered every month, with the same activity running weekly for the entirety of that month.
Every Saturday in July participants can create art in pixels, inspired by Nico William’s beadwork in Biskaabiiyang | Returning to Ourselves. Participants will have fun learning how create their own beaded artwork by designing and creating images with pixels using fusible beads.
Family Saturdays are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
To discover future monthly Family Saturday offerings, visit the program and events page on the JNAAG website.
