Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery invites families to participate in free events at the Gallery every Saturday this month. February’s installment of Family Saturday Studio Drop-In sessions focuses on creating magazine covers inspired by the art nouveau style.
Drop-in sessions will take place each Saturday in February between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Family Saturdays take place year-round with changing themes each month based on current exhibitions at JNAAG. February’s programs are based on the work of Frances-Anne Johnston in the exhibition A Family Palette: Frances-Anne Johnston, Franklin Arbuckle and Franz Johnston.
Family Saturday events are free and open to everyone, though children must be accompanied by an adult. For further information on Family Saturday Studio Drop-Ins, visit the program and events page on jnaag.ca.
The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery’s hours of operation are Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 – 4:00 p.m. with extended hours on Thursday until 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
