Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery invites the community to embark on a journey of colour and texture as we explore the captivating world of still life compositions during the January Family Saturday Studio Drop-In sessions, beginning Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Stop in to the Gallery between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. to create still life oil pastel paintings, inspired by the work of Frances-Anne Johnston in the exhibition A Family Palette: Frances-Anne Johnston, Franklin Arbuckle and Franz Johnston.
Family Saturdays take place year-round with changing themes each month. The program is free and open to everyone, though children must be accompanied by an adult. For further information on Family Saturday Studio Drop-Ins, visit the program and events page on the JNAAG website.
The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery’s hours of operation are Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 – 4:00 p.m. with extended hours on Thursday until 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
