Sarnia, ON – The new November activity for Family Saturday Studio Drop-Ins at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery begins Saturday, November 4, 2023.
Stop by the gallery Saturday afternoons between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to discover how to create unique fabric designs using wood block stamps. The activity draws inspiration from the colourful fabric work of Frances-Anne Johnston in the exhibition A Family Palette: Frances-Anne Johnston, Franklin Arbuckle and Franz Johnston.
Family Saturdays are free and open to everyone, though children must be accompanied by an adult. For further information on Family Saturday Studio Drop-Ins, visit the program and events page on the JNAAG website.
The Family Saturday activity changes each month, and a new activity will be launched in December. Follow the JNAAG on Facebook, Instagram or visit the JNAAG website to stay up-to-date on all program offerings.
The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery’s hours of operation are Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
