Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery is launching a new Family Saturday Studio Drop-In activity this October. Beginning October 7, stop by the Gallery Saturday afternoons between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. for a short, artist-facilitated studio activity.
This month participants will learn how to design and create a room of their own using chalk pastels. The activity draws inspiration from the work of Frances-Anne Johnston in the upcoming exhibition A Family Palette: Frances-Anne Johnston, Franklin Arbuckle and Franz Johnston.
Family Saturdays are free and open to everyone, though children must be accompanied by an adult. For information on upcoming Family Saturday Studio Drop-Ins, visit the programs and events page on the JNAAG website. A new activity will be announced for November.
