Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery would like to remind the public their last opportunity to view the fourth of six exhibitions in the Re View series is quickly approaching. The exhibition, featuring the works of B.C Binning, Agnew Depew, Jane Hunter, Rita Letendre, and Walter Tolles has been captivating art enthusiasts since its opening on October 6, 2024. The closing date for this exhibition is January 13, 2024.
The Re View series has been a beacon for those seeking artistic inspiration, and this latest installment promises a memorable experience for all. To enrich visitors' engagement, the Gallery has introduced brand new audio tours. These tours are thoughtfully designed to elevate the overall experience, offering a spectrum of encounters ranging from quiet introspection to prompting thought-provoking questions, guiding visitors towards the discovery of hidden symbolism within the exhibited art.
The Gallery will be installing two more exhibitions in the Re View series over the next year. These exhibitions shine a spotlight on the Gallery’s permanent collection and celebrate the ten years since Gallery Lambton transformed into JNAAG at the Thom building in downtown Sarnia. Each of the six exhibitions features a range of artworks from the permanent collection that are accompanied by audio tours written and voiced by gallery volunteers.
Members of the Gallery receive behind-the-scenes Re View exhibition content, including members exclusive audio tours. For information on how to become a gallery member, please call 519-336-8127 ext. 3231 or email yesenia.samuel@county-lambton.on.ca.
