Grand Bend, ON - Lambton Heritage Museum is hosting a family-friendly PA Day event called Holidays @ Heritage on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The museum has been running Christmas programs for local schools for nearly 40 years. This year, the program will be offered on the upcoming PA Day, and we are inviting local students, their families and members of the public to come experience Holidays @ Heritage.
Included with admission, visitors can take a wagon ride, participate in crafts, have a sip of wassail with Mr. Tudhop in his cozy 1850s home, and more. Come learn how Lambton residents prepared for Christmas in the nineteenth century and explore holiday traditions brought to Canada from around the world.
Regular museum admission rates apply. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors and students, and $3.00 for children. Children four and under are free.
Lambton Heritage Museum cares for over 25,000 historic artifacts, photographs and documents, preserving the history of Lambton County. In addition to the main exhibition centre, the museum maintains five historic buildings, two display buildings and visitor amenities like the 1 km Woodland Heritage Trail. The museum is located off Highway 21 across from Pinery Provincial Park. Come discover our story and connect with community.
