Wyoming, ON - The popular Household Hazardous Waste Days, co-sponsored by the County of Lambton Public Works Department and Clean Harbors Canada Inc., will be changing locations in August and will offer Lambton County residents an opportunity to dispose household hazardous waste at no cost.
The one-day only Household Hazardous Waste Collection will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the County Public Works Depot located at 6958 Townsend Line, Lambton Shores.
"Corrosive, toxic, reactive and flammable materials will be collected at the mobile depot," says Matt Deline, Public Works Manager, County of Lambton. "These items should never be placed in a regular landfill because they have the potential to injure sanitation workers and the potential to damage our environment."

- Pesticides
- Rat Poison
- Cleaning Fluids
- Pharmaceuticals
Reactive
- Pool chemicals
- Ammonia
- Bleach
- Aerosols
Flammable
- Gasoline
- Paints
- BBQ Starter
- Oils
- Solvents
- Propane cylinders
Items NOT accepted include: PCBs, commercial, industrial, radioactive wastes, electronics and explosives (flares and ammunition).
