Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery is inviting families and members of the public to join mother-daughter duo Sarah Whalls and Audrey Edwards in the art studio on Family Day for a unique art activity.
Drop-in on Monday, February 20 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to learn how to create your own avatar using a doll or action figure as a base. Bring your own used doll or action figure from home for this program, or use one provided by the Gallery while supplies last. Using your wildest imagination, you will be repainting your doll or action figure and creating the outfit and accessories to bring your personal avatar to life. Create a version of yourself in the future, as a game character, or any version you can dream up!
This activity is free and fun for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please note you will be painting directly on the doll/action figure used for this program.
