Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery is once again offering Art Pod, a specialized workshop designed for youth aged 10 – 14 with special needs and an interest in fine arts.
Led by practicing professional artists, Art Pod takes place one Thursday a month from September through November from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A different art method is explored each month. No experience is necessary to participate.
Upcoming Art Pod sessions are:
- Thursday, September 21
Shadow Watercolours: Use pencil and watercolour to discover the magic of shadows. - Thursday, October 21
Imagined Landscapes: Experiment with mixed media to create a landscape. - Thursday, November 16

Participants can prepare for the session by visiting the Gallery’s website in advance for a social story, details about each class, information on the instructor, and materials used in each workshop. A caregiver needs to accompany each participant to provide support, and participants should be able to follow one-step directions.
Art Pod is a free program and registration is required. To register, please visit the Art Pod page on the JNAAG website.
