
Wyoming, ON – Lambton County Archives will be out in the community this spring, offering free Introduction to Archival Research sessions at Lambton County Library locations. Through this collaborative initiative with Library staff, community members will have convenient access to valuable research guidance closer to home.
During Introduction to Archival Research, Archives and Library staff will outline the essential role that archives, libraries, and museums play in helping us preserve and understand our past. Participants will also learn how to get started with archival research and receive an overview of the many resources available through Lambton County Archives and Lambton County Library.
Program dates and locations include:
“Archives play a vital role in the preserving the stories, records, and memories of our community. These sessions will teach participants about the important work archives do, as well as how they can access valuable research resources through Lambton County Archives and Lambton County Library,” said Nicole Aszalos, Archivist/Supervisor with Lambton County Archives. “By bringing this program directly to libraries, we’re excited to connect with more people across Lambton County and help them discover how Lambton County Archives can support their research and connection to local history.”
