Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is holding a walk-in clinic this Saturday (July 24) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Dow Centre for Youth, in Sarnia. Everyone aged 12+ is welcome to this first dose only drop-in clinic offering Pfizer. No appointments necessary.
“We’re trying to make it as easy as possible for residents to get vaccinated,” said Dr. Sudit Ranade, Medical Officer of Health for Lambton County. “This is a walk-in clinic, so residents don’t need to book an appointment online ahead of time to get their first dose. Just show up with your health card or another piece of ID, and get protected.”
All youth (aged 12-17) who are vaccinated will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Sarnia Sting game. The first 100 adults (aged 18+) to be vaccinated will get a $10 gift card from McDonalds. There will also be other giveaways, snacks and games at the clinic for people to enjoy.
“Being fully vaccinated with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine provides the best protection from the virus, and its highly transmissible Delta variant which is circulating in the community,” said Dr. Ranade. “Community immunity starts with you. Please get vaccinated.”
