Sarnia, ON – The province is transforming Ontario’s employment services to make them more efficient, and outcome focused. As part of this transformation, the City of Windsor was selected as the Service System Manager (SSM) for Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, and Lambton County. The County of Lambton is pleased to announce that we have been selected by the SSM to be an Employment Ontario service provider for the Lambton area.
Located at Lambton Shared Services Centre, our Lambton Works Centre serves as a hub for job seekers and employers alike. Our services have extended countywide through a collaborative partnership with the County’s Cultural Services Division, enhancing accessibility at the following library locations: Alvinston, Corunna, Forest, Thedford, Watford and Wyoming.
The Lambton Works Centre offers a full suite of services tailored to the specific needs and goals of job seekers, including job search coaching, resume and cover letter creation, interview preparation, career exploration, and job matching.
Local employers looking for support to fill employment opportunities can access no-cost hiring supports including venues for job fairs, job postings, application screening, job matching and on-going placement support.
We invite you to the Lambton Works Centre Open House on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024, in the Lambton Shared Services Centre at 162 Lochiel Street, Sarnia, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. to meet our team and learn more about our programs and services.
The Lambton Works Centre is an Employment Ontario project and is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario and is part of the Windsor Regional Employment Network.
