Point Edward, ON - Several low-cost rabies vaccination clinics will once again be held throughout Lambton County beginning in late March and continuing into May.
These clinics are open to all cats and dogs over three (3) months of age. Animals must be restrained, in good health, and cannot have been vaccinated against rabies within the past year. The cost per animal is $30 and is payable in cash only.
“Vaccinating pets not only helps protect them from the rabies virus, but it also helps keep human populations safe,” said Lori Lucas, Supervisor of Health Protection. “These low-cost clinics offer an affordable way to add an extra buffer between humans and animals.”
