Sarnia, ON – Sarnia Library will be hosting live readings from various authors Saturday, August 25.
The event, beginning at 1 p.m. in the library's West Room, will feature the following authors:
- Sharon Berg (local author & founder of Big Pond Rumours E-Zine & Micro Press) will read one poem at the beginning & one poem at the end of the session.
- Tom Gannon Hamilton (Toronto poet & musician) will read from his chapbook El Marillo which features poems about his work with Salvaide in El Salvador during the 1980s. The book won 1st prize in the 2018 Chapbook Contest from Big Pond Rumours Press.
- Heather Robert Cadsby (Toronto poet & co-founder of Wolsak & Wynn Books) will read from her recently released poetry book from Brick Books entitled Standing in the Flock of Connections.
- Phyllis Humby (local author & columnist) will read from her collection of stories in the newly released book of short stories by five authors Our Plan To Save the World.
- Local poet and blogger Debbie Okun Hill will emcee the event.
