George A. Proctor
Warden, 1901.
Born in Moore Township, Lambton County, November 24th, 1842. Contractor and Builder. Mayor of Sarnia in 1907-1908. Chairman of the Board of Education, Sarnia 1914-1917. President of the Children's Aid Society for many years. Official of the United Church for 47 years. Died in Sarnia, buried in Lakeview Cemetery.
Archie McIntyre
Warden, 1902.
Born in Scotland, September 27th, 1837. School Teacher 1857-1858 Warwick, and 1859-1860 in Oil Springs. Carpenter and Farmer. Auditor and Assessor for years. Reeve and County Councillor for 16 years. President of Lambton Fire Insurance Company. Director Industrial Loan and Mortgage Company. Died October 27th, 1905, age 68 years. Buried in Alvinston Cemetery.
William McMahan
Warden, 1903.
Born in Kingston, October 21st, 1840. Came to Enniskillen in 1860. Went to Moore Township in 1868, and removed to Plympton Township in 1874. Farmer. Almost continually in Municipal Life for 36 years. Retired at Wyoming in 1904. Unsuccessfully contested West Lambton in the House of Commons against the late Jas. F. Lister Q.C. Died at Wyoming, September 26th, 1913. Age 74 years and buried in the cemetery there.
William A. Graham
Warden, 1905.
Born in Lanark County, February 8th, 1857. Entered municipal work in 1896 as Deputy Reeve of Enniskillen. Reeve 1898-1900, and County Councillor 1901-1906 inclusive, and filling the position of Warden in 1905. Taught school as principal of Wyoming School for 2 years, and Oil Springs for a like period. Trustee in School Section No. 18, Enniskillen, for ten years. Served as Director of Petrolia and Wyoming Agricultural Society. He never severed connections with Lambton County as his family still occupy the homestead in Enniskillen Township. Retired and moved to Inwood, and died there.
Frederick Charles Watson
Warden, 1906.
Born in the Town of Sarnia, December 18th, 1858. Private banker. Educated at the Sarnia Public Schools. Entered the employment of the late Michael Fleming in 1873, and learned telegraphy, express and banking. Was accountant at the Lambton Loan Company for 24 years. Opened private bank for business in 1906. Town Council 1906. Deputy Reeve 1891-1892. Mayor 1899-1900. County Councillor 1903-1906. Reeve of Sarnia 1909. Warden of the County 1906. Was American Vice-Consul since 1914 until his death.
James Smith
Warden, 1908.
Born in Moore Township, June 16th 1856. Stock raiser, lumberman, and farmer. Vice-president Lambton Insurance Company. Postmaster at Colinville from 1892 until office closed through adoption of mail routes. Secretery-Treasurer Moore Agricultural Society a few years, and president in 1905. Moved to the City of Sarnia and remained there until his death.
