The County of Lambton's Court Services department is responsible for the administration and prosecution of the Provincial Offences Act (POA). Provincial Offences charges include, but are not limited to:
- Highway Traffic Act
- Liquor Licence Act
- Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
- Municipal By-Laws
Some of the administrative duties include processing fine payments, enforcing unpaid fines, setting trials, recording court proceedings, generating transcripts, and other clerical duties resulting from Provincial Offence charges laid by enforcement agencies.
