Paramedics in Ontario must complete a two year college program that includes courses in anatomy and physiology, pharmacology and patient care. Part of this program includes ride out time with working Paramedics. Lambton EMS is proud to support these programs by having Paramedic students ride with and learn from our knowledgeable and dedicated Paramedics.
The Lambton EMS team has a mix of Primary Care and Advanced Care Paramedics. We work closely with the Southwest Ontario Regional Base Hospital Program, which provides medical oversight to approximately 1400 paramedics who serve a population of approximately 1 million people within Southwest Ontario.
