The Sarnia-Lambton Anti-Racism, Diversity and Inclusion Committee (SLARDIC) was formed in 2018, as an outcome of the Anti-Racism Arts Project (ARAP). The Committee is made up of community members who are passionate about promoting diversity, challenging racism and discrimination, and addressing barriers to the full participation and belonging of all Sarnia-Lambton residents.
The committee approved a new logo and marketing plan in late 2019 and will be focusing on public education and awareness and community events and initiatives such as the #AllAreWelcomeHere campaign and a community cultural cookbook.
